"Kotare" is a statement on contemporary living. Designed to look like a circuit board, the lines do not in fact connect or complete a "circuit". This represents the disconnect that the internet has brought about. Whilst people are more connected than ever by communications, their ability to actually talk with other people is reducing. The diamonds represent individuals, seemingly connected, but not in reality.
