What happens when you purchase a ring?

Refer to our ‘Purchasing your piece. How does it work?’ section for a step by step process. If you’re still not sure then feel free to send us an email or give us a call with any questions you may have.

What if it's the wrong size?

Don’t worry. We will arrange for it to be resized by one of our experienced jewellers so it fits perfectly. However remember to consider that there are many reasons for your finger size changing such as age, climate and weight changes. So we recommend to wait a couple of days to double check that the ring still doesn’t fit.  Also let us know if you’re planning to lose weight as some rings cannot be resized easily.

Can you resize the ring for me?

Yes we can resize your ring for you. However we request that all resizing be done by one of our master jewellers. Each ring in The Inspired Collection is highly complex in its construction and therefore all warranties will be voided if you have your Inspired ring resized elsewhere.

Can I call you to ask a question about the ring?

Yes we are always happy to answer any questions you have about The Inspired Collection.

Do you do commission pieces?

Yes because we are designing and manufacturing jewellers we can do commission pieces. So please ask us if you have any special requests.

Do you remodel existing jewellery?

Unfortunately we don’t. We are happy to assist you with new Inspired pieces.

Can I use one of my diamonds in your jewellery?

Unfortunately we can’t because we cannot guarantee the origin of the diamond to ensure that it is conflict free. We also do not have control over the quality of the diamond and therefore could not ensure that the diamond would hold up to the strict quality standards that we have.

How long will it take to make my piece?

It will take 4-6 weeks to handcraft your piece. However if you have an urgent request we will do everything possible to accommodate you.  For items that do not require sizing we will notify you of the timeframes. In most cases if the item does not require resizing it will be shipped to you on the next working day.

How long will it take to ship my item to me?

Which countries do you ship to?

Does Inspired JewellERy ship to PO Boxes?

For merchandise we require a signature and therefore are unable to ship to a PO BOX.

Why can’t you make the diamond without claws, and free of constraint?

We are working on it....watch this space!! Diamonds either need to be held in by claws or tension set to ensure they do not fall out during normal wear.

What are hearts and arrows in diamonds? Why does a diamond have hearts and arrows?

Hearts and arrows are what can be seen in a diamond through a special viewing machine. Essentially they reflect excellent symmetry but don’t always necessarily reflect a well cut diamond. We first recommend looking for a diamond with a high cut grade then in many cases the symmetry will also be very good which will allow you to see hearts and arrows.

How much should I be spending on an engagement ring?

It is entirely up to you and what you can afford. Commonly it has been said in recent years that a good guide is one - two months’ salary.  Just spend as much as you're comfortable spending but have regard for the fact that your partner will be wearing it for the rest of their life. Given that we are manufacturing jewellers we can work to your budget and will make sure you get the best diamond ring possible for a competitive price.

Can I get my ring engraved?

Yes you can. Just tell us what you’d like. Although please note if your item is engraved it cannot be returned as part of our 30 day return policy.

Do you make wedding bands that match the engagement ring?

Yes we do. We are in the process of including these on the website. If you have any questions, please ask.

How can I trust you?

Our owners have been in business since 1981 and have built a strong reputation with customers and suppliers. We are not an internet only business. We have a bricks and mortar store with a workshop that has been in operation since 1981. Can you make an Inspired Collection ring to fit my budget?

Yes we certainly can. If you have a higher or lower budget we can work with you to find the best possible diamond within your budget.

How Do I find out my girlfriends ring size without giving away the surprise?

If you are really wanting to surprise her here’s one option:

Find a costume ring that you know fits on her ring finger. Then put it onto one of your fingers and work out where it stops on the finger. Once you have ordered a ring from The Inspired Collection we will send you a free ring sizer.  You can then check which ring fits on your ring finger in the same place. Then tell us her size and we will handcraft it for you.

Is it safe to use my credit card at Paypal?

Yes, all transactions through Paypal are processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.

What payment methods do Paypal accept?

Paypal accepts all major credit cards.
