We have many affiliations around the world to enhance the quality and integrity of the jewellery we create. We are always looking for ways to create, innovate and keep up to date with changes in the industry:
Jewellers & Watchmakers of New Zealand Inc.
The Jewellers & Watchmakers of New Zealand Inc. was formed in 1983, from an amalgamation of the Jewellers Association of New Zealand Inc., formed 1944 and the New Zealand Horological Institute, formed in 1936 and renamed the Jewellers & Watchmakers Institute of New Zealand in 1983.

Gemmological Association of Australia –
Our association is Australia’s traditional gemmological educator. Since 1945, the Association has been responsible for producing Australia’s gemmologists by educating and updating members of the gem and jewellery industry, and the general public, about all aspects of gemstones and their substitutes.
The objects of the GAA -
- To promote the study of gemmology in Australia.
- To promote the study of Australian gemstones and gem deposits.
- To conduct and publish research into gemstones, gem-related materials such as synthetics and imitations, gem testing instruments and techniques.
- To establish and control educational programs for gemmology.
- To establish Divisions in each State of Australia to implement and teach GAA-approved courses in gemmology.
- To cooperate with other like minded organisations, both in Australia and overseas, in the promotion of gemmology.
Goldsmiths Guild of New Zealand
Ian Douglas is a founding member of the Committee of the Goldsmiths Guild of NZ and is on the Board.
The Goldsmiths Guild of New Zealand - GGNZ - is one of two specialist bodies within the Jewellers & Watchmakers of New Zealand Inc. Formally the Jewellers Guild of New Zealand.
The Goldsmiths Guild of New Zealand promotes the training of apprentices and additional training of qualified tradespeople. This, in order to enhance and maintain the skills its members require.
Goldsmiths Guild of New Zealand members have industry-recognised qualifications and agree to abide by the Jewellers & Watchmakers of New Zealand Inc. Code of Ethics.
Today the JWNZ Inc. is at the forefront of industry, leading by example and reflecting today's industry needs.

The Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce
Inspired Jewellery is a member of The Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce has been in the business of encouraging regional development and representing the region's businesses since 1856.
In its early years it was instrumental in shaping the region's infrastructure. Today, our 1,150 members, who range from major corporations to sole traders, continue to benefit from the broad pro-business policy platform promoted by the Chamber and the close personal networks and contacts membership brings.
