Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions shall apply to the use of this site and your contract with the Company for any purchases made from the Company.

Pricing

All prices list on this website are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Unless otherwise stated. If we post your item outside of New Zealand we will deduct this amount from the purchase price.

Because we make each piece individually and because each diamond is unique, in most cases we will provide you with an independent quote for the ring you are purchasing.

Terms of payment

If you are a New Zealand customer you can purchase the goods using Direct Credit, cash or by Paypal (which accepts all major credit cards including Mastercard and Visa.)

If you are an international customer you may purchase goods using Direct Credit, Telegraphic Transaction, Bankdraft or Paypal (which accepts all major credit cards.)

Risk

The risk for goods supplied by the Company shall pass to you when you sign for the goods on the delivery of the courier parcel.

30 day return policy

We give you 30 days to consider your purchase (excluding items under $100). You can return any item in its original (“as new”) condition within 30 days of the date of shipment for a refund or exchange.

Our return process

Once we receive your return and it has been confirmed we will process your refund within a couple of days. When we receive the item our quality assurance team will inspect the item. Any items that show signs of wear or that have been damaged and/or resized and/or altered by a third party will not be accepted for return and invalidate our return policy.

How to return and item

1. Return Code: Email info [at] theinspiredcollection [dot] com or call us on +64 4 889 3008 and we will give you a return code.
2. Arranging Return: We will assist you in arranging an insured shipping method.
3. Packaging your return: Include all original packaging material and contents. Ensure that you include your diamond certificate.

Shipping

• We offer free shipping on all deliveries.
• All items will be fully insured from when it leaves our workshop to when it arrives at your door.  [Refer to our insurance section for details.]
• IT will take 4-6 weeks to handcraft your piece.
• We cannot ship to PO Boxes

The standard shipping timeframes are as follows:

New Zealand

• We will send your item via courier within NZ in signature required packets.  The package will require signature upon delivery.

International

• Orders will be sent by a worldwide courier service through either FEDEX or DHL. The package will require signature upon delivery.
• We can gift wrap your item and add a card so that it arrives ready to be given to or opened by that special person.
• Discretion – we know there are many situations where you want to your item or engagement ring to be a surprise. We can ship it to any address that you wish.

Payment must be received in full prior to the collection or delivery of your order.

Warranty

As our jewellery is hand crafted in our workshop we stand behind all our items. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us on +64 4 889 3008 or contact us through our contact page and we will work to resolve the issue.

Goods and Services Tax

GST (12.5%) is included within the retail price of the item where applicable. If you are purchasing your item from outside of New Zealand then you will not be charged New Zealand GST.  You will be responsible for paying any applicable local taxes or duties in your destination country. If you have any questions about this feel free to contact and we will provide you with more information. If you are planning to take the item out of New Zealand we will assist you in arranging a tax-free purchase.

Ethical Diamond Source

At Inspired Jewellery we have a conflict-free diamond policy and take the issue very seriously.  Many measures have been put in place over recent years to stop the flow of conflict diamonds. The Kimberley Process has been established which tracks diamonds from the mine to the market. Also many partnerships have been formed with the UN, governments and other organizations that manage diamond exports to prevent the trade of illegal diamonds.

Inspired Jewellery only purchases diamonds through respected diamond suppliers who adhere to our strict zero tolerance policy.  For more information on the Kimberly Process Certification Scheme go to http://www.kimberleyprocess.com/

Tax free purchases

When you purchase a piece of jewellery from us and you wish to take it out of New Zealand tax free this is the procedure that will occur.

Full payment for the piece must be made to the company within a 28 day timeframe, prior to you leaving New Zealand.

After you have cleared customs and immigration at the international airport you will leaving New Zealand from, you can present your copy of the “Tax Free Sales Receipt” at the airport collection point to collect your piece of jewellery. Our staff will give you guidance about where the collection point is located in the airport.

You must pick your jewellery up prior to your flight leaving New Zealand. You cannot pick it up on a return flight.

If you forget to pick your jewellery up prior to your departure flight you may need to pay the GST tax when you pick it up on your return to New Zealand.

If you are purchasing this piece tax free as a gift, you must present this gift/ engagement ring to that person while you are away overseas. If you wish to present this after your return to New Zealand you maybe expected to pay the GST tax on your return to New Zealand.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property on this site, including without limit, the text, graphics and copyright works is owned by the Company.

All of our jewellery is designed by us, is unique and belongs to us. You cannot reproduce our designs, or have a jeweller (other than us) reproduce them for you.
