Chris Benham of The Inspired Collection, Wellington has achieved third place in the Gemological Institute of America's (GIA) 2011 George A. Schuetz Men's Jewellery Design Contest. The annual competition is open to jewellers the world over and is judged by an independent GIA-selected panel of industry experts who evaluate each submission on overall design, wearability, feasibility and appeal.
"We have an amazing collaborative design team and to get third place in such a prestigious competition is brilliant". It is the second such success for The Inspired Collection with Karl Williams being awarded first place in the 2010 design awards with his platinum, yellow gold and diamond men's ring. First place for this year's competition was also awarded to The Inspired Collection's Christine Douglas for her white gold men's ring design.
This 18ct solid white gold and diamond money clip design features 17 princess cut diamonds totaling 0.40ct.
